Continuing to build up his impressive list of theater credits, Finn Wittrock (ex-Damon) has been cast opposite Diane Lane ("Secretariat") in "Sweet Bird of Youth." The production will take place at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.
Wittrock will play gigolo Chance Wayne, who brings Lane's fading Hollywood actress to his home town, as he confronts his past. David Cromer, who won the Obie award for his 2009 off-Broadway direction of "Our Town", will direct Tennessee Williams' "Sweet Bird of Youth".
In addition to "Death of a Salesman," Finn Wittrock was recently in The Blue Deep. "Sweet Bird of Youth" will run from September 15 – October 21.
