Rebecca has a Yellow Lab, Phoebe, who she is very attached to. On her profile, she supports the Animal Care and Control - Manhattan Shelter. She is also a supporter of the All About Labs Rescue, Inc. organization.
Rebecca says she has become so addicted to the website and getting information about her pet that she even goes online when she's in her AMC dressing room!
Wow! Talk about being dedicated to pets! Not that I can blame her. A dog named Jessie rules the roost around our house!
One of Rebecca's main interests with the site is promoting animal adoptions. There are almost 2,000 homeless pets in the ZooToo website that are in need of a good home and some tender love care. Rebecca hopes to help a few of them find their way home through the site. Many of these animals have been listed by a local animal shelter; you can search by animal breed or simply enter your zip code to find out if any pets are in need of homes in your area.
Rebecca isn't the only person to have signed on in the year since ZooToo launched. According to the company, more than 250,000 animal lovers are now members, sharing information and even rating local vets! They own all types of animals from dogs and cats to reptiles, fish and even birds.
