Walt Willey (ex-Jack) and his partner Kim Johnson announced that their latest Illinois based WilleyWorld Community Productions project would be the play "Harvey." They further released the news that Vincent Irizarry (ex-David) will be their guest star this year.
"Harvey" centers on middle aged eccentric Elwood P. Dowd (Willey) and his imaginary friend Harvey, who happens to be a rabbit. Irizarry will portray the character Dr. Lyman Sanderson in the 1944 play written by Mary Chase. Film legend Jimmy Stewart starred in the 1950 film.
While Irizarry is attached to the play, other parts need to be cast. Auditions will be held from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM on May 30 at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Chambers St. in Ottawa, IL. The play will run from July 27 – 29 at the Ottawa Township High School auditorium.
