Ex-All My Children's Laura Allen's Awake Video Promo.

    New series.

Laura Allen (ex-Laura) will soon be seen in the new series "Awake." The fantasy crime drama follows police detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2") who moves back and forth between two realities after a car accident. In one world, his son Rex (Dylan Minnette, "Men of a Certain Age") survived the crash, while his wife Hannah (Allen) did not. In the other, Hannah is alive, while Rex is dead. While navigating his two realities, Michael starts to notice links between the two worlds.

Allen played Laura Kirk English on "All My Children" from 2000 - 2002. Laura was adopted by Brooke (Julia Barr) and married Leo (Josh Duhamel) when she grew ill from a heart condition. She had a life saving heart transplant after Gillian (Esta TerBlanche) died. Her jealousy over Leo's relationship with Greenlee (Rebecca Budig) sent her over the edge and she eventually left Pine Valley to seek help.

Allen was recently a regular in the FX series "Terriers" in 2010. "Awake" will premiere on March 1 on NBC at 10.00 PM EST. Check out the promo for the series below.
