Charismatic and athletic.
Updated September 29:
J.R. and Karina's week two jive was good enough to keep them in competition, as they were deemed safe. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Elisabetta and Val, who were eliminated.

During the second week of season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff danced the jive. They gave a high energy performance, which the crowd loved.
As for the judges, Len didn't think it was a jive, but rather a Lindy Hop. He thought it was a great dance, just not a jive. He gave J.R. a 7. Carrie Ann thought it was fantastic, but was mad about the lift. Other than that, she called it fun and gave him a 7. Bruno called their dance charismatic and athletic and said J.R. had a feel for the music. He deemed it the most satisfying overall performance of the night and gave it an 8. With an overall score of 22, J.R. landed just below Ricki Lake and her partner Derek Hough, who finished at the top of the leaderboard.
