Now, let's get to the heart of the matter: What is going to happen with Babe in the next few weeks?
Kristi: "Talk a little bit about Babe's storyline: can you hint at where she is going in the next few weeks? And what types of storylines would you like to explore with this character?"
Amanda: "Well, I can say that Babe will be interacting more with Richie as well as with Annie and Ryan, since Annie is Richie's sister. There will be more drama and excitement revolving around that. Babe will also be interacting with JR a bit, so you'll have to see how that pans out. I love how Babe is becoming more and more independent and I would like to see her stay on that path."
Kristi: "Being on the front burner means you're also working some of the really popular characters. Is there anyone you haven't worked with yet that you are really looking forward to acting with?"
Amanda: "I would love to work with Susan Lucci, of course! She is a legend and I hope that our storylines cross at some point."
Kristi: "David Canary, Bobbie Eakes and Michael Knight are legends in daytime. What is it like being thrown right in with them?"
Amanda: "It's been a lot of fun and yet a little intimidating. I have personally worked with Bobbie and Michael and they just make things so easy. They are naturals at it!"
Kristi: "Is there any one person on the show who has helped you - in the few weeks you've been here - to feel more comfortable or helped you get a better feel for Babe?"
Amanda: "Bobbie Eakes for sure. She came up to me the first day we worked together and offered to go over lines together and help me with anything I needed. She is a sweetheart."
Kristi: "We hear that days on the set can be long (and sometimes boring). What do you do to pass the time?"
to paint it and hang pictures to make it feel like it's my own."
Kristi: "Who is the funniest co-worker on the set and what do they do that perks everyone up?"
Amanda: "I would have to say Jacob Young. He is always cracking jokes!"
Kristi: "Being fairly new to soaps, have you participated in any fan events? If so, what have those first experiences been like?"
Amanda: "I have participated in some fan events. I went to the General Hospital Fan Club Weekend in L.A., which was a lot of fun! I have also attended the Stars and Strikes bowling event here in NYC where I got to bowl with some fans. I'm not that
good of a bowler, but it was a blast! I plan on attending a lot more."
Kristi: "We always get emails from fans who want to send out a little gift to their favorite actor. What's the nicest gift you have received from a fan?"
Amanda: "All of the personal letters and pictures that I get are very special. I love reading the fans' letters and appreciate their support and encouragement."
Kristi: "The strangest?"
Amanda: "Nothing strange so far!"
My thanks to Amanda for taking time out of her busy schedule to chat with us. We love hearing news from the set and getting know to our favorite actresses a bit better. Good luck with your new role in Pine Valley!
