Bye-bye, Babe!

At Josh's apartment he is furiously packing his things when Erica enters. She wants him to stay, and tries to convince him she understands his love for Babe. "I am so sorry for the pain you are going through right now," she says. Josh backs away from Erica. Babe is the only person in Pine Valley that he could have belonged to, the only person that didn't make him feel alone he tells her. Erica asks him to give his family another chance. "You're not alone," she says. Erica reaches out to Josh one more time, pulling him into a hug. He tries to hold back his tears but can't. Finally in control again, Josh kisses Erica and picks up his bags. He stops at the door, wanting to tell her something but he can't say anything. Quickly, Josh walks away.

The Satin Slayer Strikes Again!

At the police station, Josh confronts Jack - no one sets Erica off like he does! Derek comes out, telling them there has been another attack - it's Babe! The officers mobilize and Jack calls Tad at the pumphouse. Babe has been attacked! Tad, Ryan and Zach hurry away - their going to the pumphouse was a diversion! A few minutes later inside the parking garage, Derek and Jack question the police officer who accounts for Zoe's whereabouts. She was with him the whole time! He didn't get a look at the killer. Ryan and Aidan arrive at the parking garage; Derek tells them Babe is alive - for now! The authorities are more worried than ever. This time the killer didn't just kill a Fusion girl, he killed a bodyguard - a cop! - as well.

Outside the hospital room, Zoe watches the doctors work on Babe. Josh arrives and tries to force his way inside but Jeff Martin pushes him out. Krystal and Adam arrive, asking for an update and watch the doctors work from outside the room. Krystal begins to flash back to happier times. At the hospital desk, Zoe tells Josh about JR's plan. JR told her she should have died instead of Dixie! He's also got some kind of blackmail over her, but Zoe isn't sure what it is. Moments later, JR and Tad arrive. Josh tries to confront JR, but Tad interrupts them. Adam tells JR that Babe is alive but critical and pulls him away. Bianca, Kendall and Zach arrive. Learning Zoe was there soon after the attack, Tad pulls Zoe away to ask question her. Josh goes on the attack, this time against Zach. He could have saved the women - all he had to do was leave town! "If I thought it would have made a difference I would have left," Zach says. But Josh doesn't believe it. Zach should be in that hospital room, not Babe! Zach leaves the waiting area and Josh tells Kendall she has to leave her husband. Erica arrives, thankful Kendall and Bianca are safe. Erica immediately tries to convince Kendall to leave the country - she and Bianca will come with her! Kendall interrupts. She isn't going anywhere. She's staying with Zach! Bianca tells Josh about Babe's heart problems, causing Josh even more stress. Seeing him, Adam confronts Josh. He has no reason to be there! "I would enjoy nothing more than grinding you to nothing," Adam says as Josh walks away. Jamie and Amanda arrive and JR tells his brother he thought it was a trick; Julia comes over to comfort Jamie. Zoe talks to Amanda, who is sure Babe will make it through. The two bond over their friendship with Babe.

Jeff comes out to update the crowd. They can't seem to stabilize Babe, he leaves for the cardiology lab and Josh follows. Jack arrives, along with Ryan and Aidan and Ryan immediately confronts Kendall. What has she done with Spike? Kendall assures him Spike is safe - he's guarded by a nanny and has tons of security at the casino. It isn't enough - it wasn't just Babe that was hurt. Her bodyguard was attacked as well! The news stuns Kendall. Across the room, Jack asks Zoe what Babe talked about before the paramedics took her away, but Zoe can't remember anything except Babe wanting little Adam to be protected. Josh and Jeff come back in, arguing over whether or not Josh can be in the operating room. They need to implant a pacemaker to safe Babe's life, and Jeff doesn't want Josh to be there. Erica assure Josh that Jeff will take care of Babe. The orderlies roll Babe out and Krystal kisser her, telling Babe to stay strong for little Adam. As they wheel Babe way, Josh follows. Everyone else in the waiting room settles in to wait for news. From outside the operating room, they hear Josh yelling. "You didn't have to stop! You didn't have to stop!" Jeff pushes him from the room and Josh unleashes his anger on JR. "Are you happy now? Babe is dead!"

Babe Is Attacked!

At the Chandler mansion, Josh tries to get inside, but Krystal won't allow it. Josh tells Krystal that Babe is in trouble and he wants to help; when he hears JR is at the office, Josh runs off. Krystal immediately calls Babe, who assures her everything is fine. When Adam comes in, Krystal is still angry with Josh. Babe is through with him. Why can't he just leave her alone? Adam doesn't buy it and tells Krystal about the evidence that JR has been collecting against Babe. The news angers Krystal. Who does JR think he is? Adam tries to explain to Krystal that JR was only hurt and wanted to make sure Babe was back on the straight and narrow. He's sorry he kept things from her, but he needed to give his son support. That ends, now, though. He'll never keep another secret from her. Can she forgive him? Krystal rubs her pregnant belly, thinking about her own secrets. "It's not as if I haven't kept some deep, dark secrets from you, too," she says. What secret? She can tell him anything! Krystal struggles for a moment before telling him that she kept Babe and Josh's affair a secret - she knew long before she told him. Adam doesn't care, she told him when he asked. Does she think they can do this - live together without secrets or lies?

Inside JR's office, he reacts angrily to Zoe's kiss. Zoe holds him back from Babe saying, "I still have enough testosterone to take you!" JR escapes Zoe's grasp as Babe's picture is sent to her lawyer. JR becomes even more angry when Babe throws his own lies in his face. Zoe completes their plan, telling JR she will tell the tabloids that JR has been begging she and Babe into a three-some if he takes his picture public! Babe tells JR she won't use the picture if he agrees to settle things quietly. Josh bursts in, ruining any chance Babe might have had to convince JR not to use the pictures. Josh asks what JR is holding over Babe's head, but Babe won't tell him. Neither will Zoe and JR keeps twisting the knife. "Tick-tock, Babe," he repeats. Zoe tells Josh to leave and they do, reluctantly, together. Alone once more, Babe tells JR she will return the Chandler shares and share custody with him. No way! JR won't share anything with her. "You take down my mother, I will take you down just as hard!" Babe exclaims. JR calls her bluff - he can handle anything she throws at him. Babe gives him one last chance and JR doesn't take it. Seeing she won't get through to him, Babe leaves. Alone once more, JR flashes back to Dixie's dying request. It's time to go home! At the mansion, JR interrupts Adam and Krystal who have agreed on the No Secrets Policy. "That should work well," JR says sarcastically. Adam tells him the rules: anything JR says to his father will be told to Krystal; anything Babe says to Krystal will be shared with Adam. They don't want any more personal information about JR's marriage, either. Can he live with that much honesty? JR asks Krystal if he and Adam can speak alone. Before Dixie died, she told JR something and it's time Adam knew!

At the casino apartment, Ryan and Kendall argue over custody of Spike. Kendall wants to keep her son with her - and away from Annie. Ryan only wants to keep the boy safe. Can't Kendall see she and Zach are both targets? Spike will be safer with him! Kendall disagrees - the casino is a fortress. No one can get to her, Zach or Spike there! When Ryan asks for his help, Zach backs Kendall up, saying this is her decision and he'll stand by her. Kendall brings up Emma - this is retaliation isn't it? Tad arrives, interrupting the argument. The killer wants a face to face meeting with Ryan! Zach can't believe what the two men did, but he likes the plan. Seeing the faxed note, Kendall realizes Jenkins can't be the killer. They are still in danger! Ryan, Tad and Zach prepare to leave to meet the killer and Kendall stops them. They can't go, this is what the police are for! Zach grabs a gun as Ryan tells Kendall they'll finish their discussion when he returns. Zach takes Kendall in his arms, assuring her he'll be right back before leaving with the others. Josh arrives a few minutes later, angry over JR and Babe. Kendall doesn't really care and tells Josh so! Zach, Ryan and even Tad are in huge danger - that's more important than him misplacing Babe! Josh storms out. A guard knocks on the door with a note for Kendall. It was left at the front door! Kendall opens the note which reads, "Leave him or you die"!

Outside JR's office, Josh and Zoe are waiting for Babe. She doesn't wait for them, but heads for the parking garage alone. Josh and Zoe catch up and Josh continues his questioning. He wants to help her, can't she see that? Zoe interrupts. The best way to help is to back off! Babe tells Josh the last thing she needs is his help; his being around is making things worse for her. Just leave her alone! Finally seeing she is serious, Josh leaves, telling Babe she can call on him for anything. Zoe hugs her, making Babe feel a little better. Zoe leaves and Babe's bodyguard takes her to the car. The guard, Max, disappears and Babe gets out of the car. Max has collapsed! Frightened, Babe backs away and a mysterious figure grabs her! Babe screams and tries to fight, but the stranger is too powerful. He pulls a needle from a pocket, along with a white satin ribbon and plunges it into her neck!

Playing With Fire

At Josh's apartment, Erica barges in with an announcement: the family is going on a cruise and her children better get on board! Josh tells Erica a cruise is a big mistake - they'll kill each other! Bianca pipes up, telling Erica that Kendall won't go; she won't leave Zach. Josh doesn't want to go either, feeling that Babe is still in danger. Learning that Maggie is headed back to Paris, Erica tries to push Bianca into agreement. Bianca sees through the plan: Erica only wants to keep her away from Zoe and Josh away from Babe! Annoyed, Erica wonders why they think of her as a "meddling monster". She is only trying to protect her children! Learning that Zoe is living in Josh's apartment, Erica is stunned! Zoe enters, excited to finally meet The Great Erica Kane. She is such a stylish and dignified woman and has been an inspiration to Zoe. Erica is flattered by Zoe's words. When she begins talking about Erica's books, she is even more flattered. Zoe heads to her room and Erica tells Bianca she may have misjudged the girl. She's going to step back and reassess because Zarf is all man. Bianca is attracted to a man! Bianca gets a little freaked - because she likes Zoe doesn't mean she isn't gay! Erica assures Bianca that she understands Bianca is gay, but there are many people who "go both ways"! Zoe reenters, in full Zoe gear. She is on a mission. Assuring Bianca and Josh she is ready to appear in public and everything is under control, she leaves. Bianca tells Erica she is glad her mother finally met the real Zoe. Erica is taken aback by Zoe's transformation from Zarf. "My children have all lost their minds," Erica says as she leaves. Josh hurries out after her, wanting to find Babe.

Decisions, Decisions

JR arrives at Josh's apartment to confront Babe, but finds only Zarf inside with his nemesis. Learning Babe has again ditched her bodyguards and JR doesn't know where she is, Josh and Zarf confront him. How could he leave Babe alone? Zarf calls Babe. Is she okay? Babe assures Zarf she is fine and suggests they meet at the park a little later. Josh confronts JR - what did he do this time to make Babe run? JR leaves rather than answer, but not before giving Josh a message - tick, tock! Time is running out for Babe. Josh asks Zoe where she is going to meet Babe - because he is going instead! Zarf/zoe won't let Josh go, especially after learning of the kiss at the gala. Josh is likely the last person Babe will want to see. As Zarf is leaving, Bianca arrives. Josh tells her about the kiss and JR's reaction. "JR isn't the one who's stupid, Josh. It's you!" she says. Why should JR forgive Babe for repeatedly cheating on him? Josh brings up Maggie, but Bianca cuts him off. Maggie has nothing to do with this! Josh surprises - and shocks - Bianca when he tells her the kiss was a goodbye. Babe was leaving him for JR, but rather than taking her back, JR has dumped her. JR has killed anything between them. Bianca tries to comfort Josh, who doesn't want to listen. He believes JR will hurt Babe. Bianca tells Josh to let it drop; he doesn’t have to protect Babe because JR isn't going to hurt her.
