    Jack saddles up to the bar at Krystal's. He tells Krystal he and Erica are finally over.

    Everyone gathers at the Chandler mansion. Even Jamie returns because he's worried about JR. Angie notices that Randi is glowing. She admits to her husband, Jesse, and Angie that she might be pregnant. Meanwhile, Zach and Griffin attempt niceties as Kendall intervenes to say she's glad David is out of their lives. David shows up looking for Adam. JR lurks in the secret tunnel, as Erica and Opal show up and see Jack talking to Krystal. JR pulls out his gun as Adam and the room toast to Pine Valley. Erica asks to talk to Jack alone, as David finds Adam. David is snarky, as Adam doesn’t know how to thank him. David says cash is always a good start. Adam wonders what he's up to, but gives him money anyway. Bianca and Marissa show up after getting a text message. They think it was from Scott, but he denies it.

    In another room, Erica tells Jack she's arranged for him to come to L.A. with her. She says they can have every single night together. Jack wants family and marriage. He doesn't want to sit alone while she chases her dreams. She thinks they share their dreams because they love each other. She is committed to him and no one else. He knows she doesn’t want to get married. Erica admits it. She doesn’t want to rush into a marriage just to make him feel better. He wishes her luck of the rest of her life without him. He leaves the room as Erica chases him.

    Meanwhile, Tad gives a toast and says it's all about neighbors, family and friends. He's found all of them in Pine Valley. It's been his home. The best years of his life. No matter what, family and "all my children" are always with him. Adam wants to add something to the festivities and proposes to Brooke. She happily says yes. Erica runs after Jack through the crowd. She begs him not to go because she needs him. Frankly, Jack doesn't give a damn what she needs and walks away. JR points his gun at the crowd, as Erica runs after Jack. A gunshot goes of.

    Kit stops by Erica and Jack's place and tells them they have an Oscar winning writer onboard for the movie. He wants her to move out to L.A. immediately to get to work, but it will only be for three months. Erica is excited but she needs to talk to Jack before she makes a decision. Kit leaves and Jack says he knows Erica has already made up her mind. She's knows it's terrible timing, but promises they will still get married. He muses there will always be opportunities like this for her to take because it makes her feel safe from commitment and settling down. There is always something more important then their relationship to her. He doesn't want to live that way anymore and leaves.

    At Kendall and Zach's, Kendall shows Bianca their mother's book. Kendall is irate because Erica discussed their first confrontation in detail. In a personal aside, Kendall tells the camera it was a day she is glad she had, but she doesn’t want to relive it. Bianca defends their mother, so Kendall suggests Bianca keep reading. Meanwhile, Ryan and Zach begin a new partnership with Jacks' help. They decide to call their foundation the Myrtle Fargate Foundation. Jack leaves to pick up Erica, as Kendall organizes their family BBQ. Once everyone has left to pick up supplies, Kendall tells Zach about Erica's book. He thinks she should let it go for today. She tells him how happy she is that he's back. In Zach's aside, he talks about almost dying. He calls Kendall his angel. His saving grace. He hoes Erica doesn't screw up how well they're doing right now.

    Erica meets with Kit at ConFusion. He wants all the details of her life. One's she hasn't shared yet, meaning Kendall. To the camera, Erica relives Kendall confronting her about giving her up and telling her that she born out of a rape. Erica doesn't know what she would do without her. Erica gets back to Kit and tells him about Bianca and how she has opened her eyes on more than one occasion. In another aside, Erica talks about how impressed and proud she is of Bianca. Kit moves on to talking about Jack, who shows up to bring Erica to the BBQ. Kit tells Jack to get used to living with a movie star.

    The gang returns to the house with supplies as Zach and Kendall make out on their couch. Bianca and Kendall rehash Erica's novel, as Bianca says Natalie Portman should play her in the movie. JR lurks as Kendall thinks Sarah Jessica Parker or Sarah Michelle Gelllar should play her. Erica and Jack show up and Kendall suggests she and Bianca talk to their mother. They pull her aside and while Bianca tries to downplay their concerns, Kendall tells Erica they are pissed that all their personal moments are out for public consumption. Erica gets defensive because it's a story about her life and she won't change a thing for the movie. JR sneaks in when everyone disperses, leaving the kids in the living room. He calls AJ over, but AJ knows he's supposed to tell Mommy he's there. JR just wants to tell him how much loves him. Erica returns and tells JR to leave AJ alone. She ushers the kids to the kitchen and orders JR out of the house. The rest of the adults return and Zach throws JR out. Kendall and Erica resume arguing over her book. Erica promises to tell her story with the respect it deserves but she won't water it down. Zach interrupts them saying Ryan wants to make a toast. Ryan toasts to a sense of family they all feel in the Slater house. He throws it back to Zach, who knows all the bickering is what keeps the family going. It's been a hell of a ride and it will keep going. He toasts to all the families in the room. Kendall and Bianca agree to give Erica the benefit of the doubt. Erica won't disappoint them.

    Erica finds Jack at ConFusion. She excitedly tells him about the movie of her book. Jack is thrilled for her and happy to have her home. He wants to plan the wedding, but she can't make any plans with the movie deal pending. As they talk, Brooke shows up. Jack excitedly welcomes her home, but Erica jumps right in with the snarky comments insinuating Adam left her already. Brooke assures her Adam is in town and they are very much together. As Erica brags about her movie, Jack gets called away. The women snipe at each other until Brooke laughs over them falling into old habits. Erica smiles and genuinely tells her she looks good and says Pine Valley hasn't been the same since she left. Erica asks about Adam. Brooke tells her things have been different for him since they left. Erica wonders what she's not telling her. Brooke remains mum on the subject. As she turns to leave, Erica tells her she's not in her movie.

    At the restaurant, Krystal tells Ryan she would forgive David anything if Babe were alive. Ryan thinks that's what David is banking on. Jack joins them, as Ryan urges Krystal not to buy into David's games. Jack backs him up as Ryan steps away to take a call. Jack tells Krystal David is baiting Erica as well, but Jack doesn’t think she fell for it. Krystal counters that Erica took it hook, like and sinker because she went to L.A. to find Mike Roy. Jack wonders why Erica can't let it go.
