This Is Where I Want To Be.

At the hospital, Amanda sees Angie and asks if she knows where Jake is. She says he's in a meeting but Amanda finds out he has left the hospital. She asks someone about Cara's schedule and learns she’s off work today.

Amanda looks for Cara at the tent but can’t find her. She begins searching the place and finds Jake’s missing button under a table.

Cara runs into Jake in the hospital corridor and tells him what she told Amanda and they realize their stories conflict. Amanda is listening outside the area when Jake says she would be devastated if she knew what went down between them.

You’re Married To A Middle-Aged Smurf.

Jake and Amanda are smooching when Jake hears something outside the tent at the hospital. They go back to their smooch but Jake is distracted. He admits being in the tent brings back bad memories. He begs to go somewhere else and goes on and on, obviously uncomfortable. He goes back to her and says he wants some action after the shift. She says she’ll need pizza to keep up her energy.

Cara joins Jake at the nurse’s station. He asks if she was in the tent a little while ago when he was with Amanda. She says yes, she didn’t want to interrupt them. Amanda is outside the door listening to them. As they separate, Amanda joins Cara. Amanda tells her about Jake being uncomfortable about being in the tent Cara says that's probably why Jake has never been to the tent. Amanda knows they’re lying.

Then Tad joins Jake and shows him his bad hair day. Jake is astounded and Tad says he was shooting for salt and pepper and winded up with strawberry jam. Jake tells him that he went freaky when Amanda wanted to make love in the tent. He admits he lied to Amanda when he bailed on her. Tad assures Jake that he and Cara did the right thing. They didn’t cross the line. He thanks Tad for being a great brother.

An Appetizing Snack.

Amanda sees Jake at the hospital, as Cara walks in. Amanda points out Jake never mentioned that Cara was back at work. Jake stammers and stutters about why he didn’t tell her, but she says she's okay with it. Amanda walks away and Cara asks Jake why he didn't tell her. He says he was just waiting for the right moment. He then gets paged for an emergency and Cara offers to help him.

The christening gets underway at the hospital with Jake and Amanda as godparents and Frankie, Randi, Brot, Tad and Cara in attendance. Afterwards, Frankie tells Angie, Maya would make a great babysitter for Lucy.

Jake goes to the clinic tent and recalls kissing Cara. He hears a noise and calls out for Cara. He sees Amanda, who says, "No. It's your wife." She asks him if the tent reminds him of his time with Cara. He declares it doesn't. She thinks they can have something just as dangerous and spontaneous as he had with her and kisses him as Cara walks in.

In the park, Amanda is surprised Jake can forgive her so easily after lying to him about possibly being pregnant. Jake just wants to put it in the rearview mirror. Amanda remains confused, but Jake tells her he knows she did it out of love.

After whisking him away from the hospital, Amanda brings Jake to the park to celebrate the first time he proposed to her. He tells her how much he loves her and kisses her.

Older And Wiser.

Jake and Cara have coffee at the hospital and guiltily discuss keeping their kiss a secret. Amanda finds them and Cara leaves to check on Griffin. Amanda gives Jake a drawing from their son. She calls Jake the best father and husband. She apologizes for lying to him and promises to do better. She kisses him, but Jake just looks more guilt-ridden.

Amanda and Tad run into each other at Krystal's. She admits that she lied to Jake about her possible pregnancy and calls herself her own worst enemy. Tad doesn’t give her any argument, but assures her no one could take her place in Jake's life. He thinks her insecurity is the only thing coming between them. Amanda knows he is older and wiser, but wonders what if she's right and he's wrong?
