All My Children Stars: Where Are They Now? image

Hey fans, it's time to take a look into the past and get reacquainted with a few of Pine Valley's finest – and I don't just mean police officers! These familiar faces definitely made an impression on All My Children fans and even though they've moved on, we haven't forgotten them!

We'll start with a hunk from the past – John Callahan (ex-Edmund Grey). Since Edmund was killed off by Jonathan, actor John Callahan has been quite busy. He starred in the Primetime hit "Watch Over Me" in 2006 and made two guest appearances on the nighttime soap opera "Desperate Housewives". Now, John is headed back to Daytime! Beginning November 24, John will play a Days of our Lives doctor who has some interactions with Nicole! You can read about that here. Congratulations, John!

Taylor Miller (ex-Nina Cortlandt) recently finished filming the independent film "Hannah Free!" with Sharon Gless of "Cagney and Lacey" fame. will keep you posted on release dates for the film.

Two more Pine Valley favorites are returning to Daytime this winter – but won't be making a return to their familiar AMC roles.

Jeff Branson (ex-Jonathan Lavery) hasn't been seen around Pine Valley since February 2008; Jonathan was written off off-screen (we heard Ryan talking about his Pine Valley exit over the phone). Now actor Jeff is returning to Daytime to play Reva's son Shayne on Guiding Light; his first airdates will be in December.

Mark Pinter (ex-Roger) is headed to sister-soap opera General Hospital this winter. He'll play a federal agent.

Mark is best known for the role of Roger in Pine Valley and as the diabolical love-to-hate-him Grant Harrison on "Another World". Mark spent much of the 1980s skipping from soap opera to soap opera and winning over fans wherever he went; the new role on is currently set for a short-term but you never know – good guys are always needed in Port Chuck!

Finally, Grant Aleksander (ex-Alex McIntyre) is returning to Daytime in his signature role – Philip Spaulding on Guiding Light! Looks like Springfield is just filling up with former Pine Valley stars, doesn't it, fans?

Congratulations to these great actors and actresses! We miss you in Pine Valley but look forward to seeing the new characters you'll create!
