Coming this fall.
Sterling Sulieman (ex-Dre) has been cast in Ryan Murphy's ("Glee") series "The New Normal." The freshman NBC comedy is about a gay couple who use a surrogate when they decide they're ready for a baby.
Per Deadline, Sulieman will play NeNe Leakes' ("The Real Housewives of Atlanta") character's republican brother. Leakes plays an assistant to one of the soon-to-be fathers.
"The New Normal" premieres on September 11 at 9.30 PM EST. It also stars Ellen Barkin ("Ocean's Thirteen"), as the surrogate's grandmother, Justin Bartha ("The Hangover"), as one of the fathers and Jackie Hoffman (ex-Eunice Burns, "One Life to Live"), as Bartha's character's mother.
