More drama ahead.

Even though ABC passed on "Devious Maids," starring Susan Lucci (ex-Erica), it will still be seen on the small screen. Lifetime has picked up Marc Cherry's ("Desperate Housewives") sudsy drama for 13 episodes.

The series, about five maids who work for the well-to-do in Beverly Hills, also stars Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa, "General Hosptial"), Judy Reyes ("Scrubs"), Roselyn Sanchez ("Without a Trace") and Ana Ortiz ("Ugly Betty"). "Devious Maids" is set for a 2013 premiere, with Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives") as an executive producer.
