J.R. Martinez (ex-Brot) has been extremely busy since "All My Children" ended last September, but he has yet to land another acting role. That's about to change, as Entertainment Weekly reports he will follow in fellow soap opera and Dancing with the Stars alum Susan Lucci's (ex-Erica) footsteps by appearing on "Army Wives."
Martinez will begin filming next month, as a physical therapist who works with wounded veterans. He will be seen on the Lifetime series at the end of August.
"Army Wives" airs at 10:00 PM EST. The season, on a month long hiatus, will resume on June 24.
