Whether they lived in Pine Valley for many years or only graced our television screens for a short time, our favorite soap stars definitely leave an impression on us. Soaps.com thought it was high time we tracked a few of these former stars down to see what they are up to now.
Several past All My Children will be lighting up Primetime screens this fall.
Read on for an update!
Leven Rambin (ex-Lily, ex-Ava) has landed a role on the Fox hit "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". Leven plays Riley, a seemingly normal teenager who captures John Connor's attentions at school. But, is Riley really a normal teenage girl or is something more sinister going on? If you missed an episode, never fear, you can watch episodes online here.
Our next Daytime to nighttime star is Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie). After successfully launching the new "Knight Rider" show through a made for television movie last spring, Justin is set to take over NBC on a weekly basis! The new show, also starring Sydney Poitier and Val Kilmer (as the voice of KITT) premieres September 24, 2008!
Natalia Cigliuti (ex-Anita) is another Primetime transplant! Since leaving Pine Valley, she has landed a role on the new series "Raising the Bar". She plays Roberta in the courtroom drama; check your local listings for showtimes!
Lauren Holley (ex-Julie Chandler) has become a big star in Hollywood since leaving Pine Valley. She starred with Jim Carrey in the movie "Dumb & Dumber" and with Mark Harmon in the Primetime drama "NCIS" (her character, Jenny, was killed off last spring). Lauren is currently working on two films, set for release next year. "The Perfect Age of Rock 'n Roll" and "The Least Among You" are both in post-production right now.
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo) has become quite the made for television movie star of late! Since leaving Pine Valley, Mark as filmed two made-for-TV flicks. "For The Love of Grace", his most recent romantic comedy, debuted on The Hallmark Channel in September.
Who could forget about Michelle Trachtenberg (ex-Lily)? She is currently starring in "Gossip Girl" as Georgina, and has become quite the ABC Family star. Her movies "Ice Princess" and "The Circuit" are shown often. Michelle is currently at work on three new movie projects. "Young Americans", "17 Again" and "Against the Current" are expected to be released in 2009.
Jessalyn Wanlim (Rachael) hasn't left Pine Valley, but Kendall's nanny hasn't been seen much either - and we know why! Jessalyn has completed the filming of three films! Congratulations Jessalyn! She is set to appear in "The New Twenty", "The Good Guy" - which also stars Colin Egglesfield (Josh) and Denise Vasi (Randi) - and "In The Meantime".
Many fans didn't like his character in Pine Valley but it's no secret that everyone loved seeing David Rasche (ex-Rob) on the show last spring. Turns out that villains are the love-to-be-hated type and he perfectly fit the bill. David hasn't let any moss grow under his feet since leaving Pine Valley. He is set to star (and according to some reviews steal the show!) in the new George Clooney/Brad Pitt comedy thriller "Burn After Reading"! Congratulations, David! He is also working on a television project called "Can Openers"; he plays a doctor in a teaching hospital who isn't thrilled with one of his new, female students!
