Biography

Michael Nouri was born in Washington, D.C., but went to school and graduated from Emerson College in Boston.

Nouri sold insurance before becoming an actor where he gained fame in such movies as "Flashdance," "Lovely & Amazing" and "Last Holiday." He has also been seen in the TV shows "Love & War," "The O.C.," "Brothers & Sisters,""NCIS" and "Damages."

The seasoned actor also did a stint on The Young and the Restless as Elliot Hampton from 2004 – 2005 and "Search For Tomorrow" as Steve Kaslo from 1975 - 1978.

Aside from TV and film roles, Michael also made his mark on Broadway, appearing in, among other productions, "Victor/Victoria" with Julie Andrews from 1995 – 1997.

He is twice divorced and has two daughters. Nouri has served as an ambassador of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a result of one of his ex-wives being affected by the condition.
