Adrienne Frantz (Jill Johnson/JPI)
Adrienne started performing at a young age. At three, she would hold private dance recitals for friends and family, and by thirteen she was singing "The Star Spangled Banner" at professional sports events all over Detroit, Michigan. It wasn't until Adrienne was sixteen that moved to New York City and landed numerous commercial roles. Her first role on television was 'Tiffany Thorne' on the now defunct soap opera "Sunset Beach," but in 1997, she caught her big break, landing the Daytime role of Amber on The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2003, she also played Amber's long-lost twin, April!
By 2005, Adrienne had built a recording studio in her home and left her television role behind to pursue a singing career. She was successful at that undertaking as well, with her CD, "Anamoly" coming out in 2007. It was during this time that Adrienne decided to return to the role of Amber, in 2006, but this time, she would be acting on The Young and the Restless.
Adrienne is a staunch animal rights supporter, and has worked with PETA, Save the Horses, the Humane Society's Genesis Awards, Actors & Others for Animals, Tippi Hendren's Shambala Preserve, and The Rescue Cat Association. She is also a supporter of the Pancreatic Cancer Society, Diabetes Society and several organizations that help abused women and children.
In her free time, Adrienne enjoys writing poetry and music, attending concerts, skiing and playing softball, and relaxing at home with her three rescued cats and two chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Lucy and Ethel.
